Rev. Yvette Pressley
Rev. Yvette Pressley is a pastor, conference speaker and workshop developer who has been teaching the scriptures for over 25 years. She is the former Pastor of the Lynnwood United Methodist Church in Lancaster, SC. As the first African American to lead this all-white congregation, Rev. Pressley’s appointment was historic and highly successful in encouraging healthy race relations in Lancaster and surrounding communities. She is passionate about increasing biblical literacy in the Body of Christ and helping others experience the transformative power of the Word of God. Rev. Pressley earned a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (M.A.T.S) from Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, SC and will graduate with a Doctor of Ministry degree from Duke Divinity School, Durham, NC in May 2020.
